Brightleaf Audubon will be conducting our Spring “Lick Creek Cleanup” event on April 26th(Saturday), 2025 between 1 PM – 4 PM. This is part of our bi-annual effort to keep our community and Lick Creek clean.
We urge members of Brightleaf to join fellow community members and network with the Brightleaf Audubon group in the upcoming “Lick Creek cleanup” event.
Date: April 26th, 2025(Saturday) between 1PM to 4 PM
Place: Meadows on Big spring circle – 1021 Big Spring Cir, Durham, NC 27703

This is a bi-annual event during which we clean our roadways, the Lick Creek, take water samples, measure water quality, look for aquatic and terrestrial wildlife, and pick up trash. This activity usually lasts 3-4 hours depending on participation. Participants are welcome to stay as long as they want and may leave early if they need to. Please wear sturdy shoes that you don’t mind getting wet or rubber boots. Kids over 5 years old are welcome! Hope to see you!
